All of the dogs pictured here were saved by the Second Chance League, a Fairbanks based sled dog rescue organization, and are currently in foster homes. The dogs were trying out for a summer stint at Kantishna, at the end of the Denali Park Road, as demonstration sled dogs for tourists.
Seven dogs auditioned and they all were selected for the Kantishna Team.
