I am a Research Professional in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Since November of 2004, I have been studying aqueous geochemical interfaces, specifically the interaction of water and contaminant metal ions with metal oxide surfaces. This work is part of a project, "Experimental and Theoretical Investigations of Aqueous Geochemical Interfaces — The Role of Nanoscale and Molecular Structures in Dictating Environmental Reactivity", funded by the National Science Foundation.
I currently live in Washington, DC, where I am a Guest Researcher at the National Institute of Standards and Technology → Chemical Sciences and Technology Laboratory → Physical and Chemical Properties Division → Computational Chemistry Group.
